Thank You Table For Six!

It's been over a year now since I spoke to you. I wanted to thank you for introducing me to Debra Jean (DJ) last year on July 31, 2004 at the Duck Club in Lafayette. We have been dating for over year now and I'm happy to announce that we are officially engaged to be married. Our marriage is set for June, 2006. I am very much in love with DJ and I am looking forward to spending the rest of my life with her.

Definately Found Who I Was looking For

Richard and I met through Table for Six®. We've been together for almost two years now and got married last November. We're very happy! Thank you for providing the venue for us to find one another!  I definitely found what and who I was looking for!

Below is an excerpt from our wedding ceremony where our officiate "told our story."

"Kathleen and Richard had both decided to be intentional about meeting other people and joined Table for Six®. On May 31, 2003 it was the last day of Richard's membership. He was attending his last dinner with the club. Interestingly, it was Kathleen’s very first event in the program as she had just joined...
At any rate, they both wound up at a dinner together that evening... that initial dinner drew them to one another like magnets… and the rest is history!"

I hope you're doing well. Just wanted to send you a picture of Peter and I. Thanks so much for thinking of us and many, many thanks for allowing us to meet. We celebrated our first wedding anniversary in September and welcomed our new addition, Amelia, this year as well!

I Cannot Thank You Enough, Table For Six!

We just returned from our wedding, Nov 20th in Bermuda - here is a beach wedding photo that really captures our love.

I cannot thank you enough! We met on one of your adventure evenings visiting various night clubs last January. We have been together ever since. I met him only 22 days after Joining Table For Six®, so it was meant to be.

He Said Yes, And The Rest Was History!

Hi Monica,

John and I met on a Table For Six® hike in Marin on February 29th, 2004. We never would have met at a dinner, since he was a member of the Walnut Creek group, while I went to the San Francisco dinners. Luckily, T46 also has monthly activities to bring these groups together! We hit it off famously
and are now engaged to be married!

Ironically, it was I who asked T46 to contact John and let him know I was interested, since according to the fifth-century Irish legend, Feb. 29th was the only day that unmarried women could propose to men! In the US, this morphed into Sadie Hawkins Day, although some people stick to the November date given this name from the L'il Abner cartoon. Sadie Hawkins Day or not, he said yes and the rest is history! I've attached our engagement photo. We'll be married in Petaluma in just two weeks, on New Year's Eve!

Fairy Tales Do Come True!

I met Bob at my first "Table for Six" dinner on March 17. We were told that Bob would be arriving late, so our group sat down to order dinner. Later, I noticed a guy walk into the restaurant, and I immediately thought to myself, "I hope that's Bob", and it was!

Thankfully, the open chair at the table was seated right next to me. There was an immediate connection when we made eye contact, but we were both a little shy. We both provided feedback to the "Table for Six" coordinator that we were interested in getting to know one another better.

Anyway, the night we had our first 1-on-1 date, we talked for 4-1/2 hours. We knew this was something special, so got all of the "heavy topics" out of the way in terms of what we were looking for. For example, Bob is divorced and has 50% custody of two teenage boys. He wanted to make sure that I was okay with that (which I was).

We saw each other every night, and talked for hours on the phone when separated. Within 5 days of our 1st date, we were engaged. We are going to be married October 2nd.

We have so much in common and are always on the same wavelength. We laugh so much when we're together. We've met each other's friends and family, and feel that we fit perfectly together.

I have to thank "Table for Six" for bringing us together. I've never been happier.
